It is a formula of three sugars (sucrose, d-glucose, and d-fructose) combined at the correct ratio to mimic the nectar found in flowers. Because of this ratio, the nectar breaks down better in the hummingbird s body, making each sip more beneficial. Hummingbirds prefer this nectar because the complex sugars make it sweeter than other nectars or straight table sugar without adding to the concentration.

There is no added junk! No red dyes, no preservatives or emulsifiers. No need to boil! Just use five parts hot tap water to one part nectar!

In order to ensure that we are not harming these fragile friends, we recommend changing and washing your feeders twice per week. You can store nectar made into liquid form for up to two weeks in the refrigerator!
